Kitchen Amy & Simon

We created this unique kitchen for clients who were painstakingly restoring an imposing Victorian home. We were keen to preserve and enhance the property's features, including the original tiled floor and existing full height storage cupboards.

We opted for a heritage shaker door painted in Farrow & Ball Inchyra Blue with traditional tongue and groove panelling. The pine storage cupboards, range mantle and a rather exciting backlit gin shelf were painted to match.

We incorporated a clever seating perch next to the ceiling height breakfast station - perfect for members of our client's busy family, who love to grab a bite to eat but all leave the house at different times.

It was a challenge to fit the units to slightly wonky walls and the fragile and uneven antique floor, but the end result was worth the effort. We made some units with non-standard depths to optimise storage space wherever possible.
